I have decided to start a separate blog to archive the few months that I will spend in Norway as an exchange student. This will be one chapter of my life which I will like to share with others. Hopefully, as the name of this blog suggests, my life outside the comfort zone will be an interesting. I also hope to squeeze in as many tours around europe as time permits and also if the finances permits.
I have heard so much from friends who have went over and seen so many blogs of friends on exchange to other places and they all seem to have a fantastic time being poor students overseas. Life may not have been fantastic here but at least it is where everything is familiar and family and friends are always on hand to help you but after 22 years of sheltered comfort I think this will be a good chance to really go out and see the world, or at least part of the world.
There is still another 2 months before I am due to fly off and guess what... all that I have done is booked my flight, apply for residence permit and borrowed a few winter clothing from my aunt. Btw, they don't look nice.. so maybe I'll get a few new ones in Norway which I heard is pretty cheap when on sale.
Things left to do
- Meet up with friends
- Postphone dental appointment
- Apply for UOB account
- Arrange for hp termination
- Buy necessary items
- Pack luggage
- Plan travelling details
