Bergen Trip (9 Aug - 10 Aug)

Outside the overnight train to Bergen. Backpackers are everywhere here.

Boarding my first long train ride!!

One shot before we get ready to sleep. The seats are more comfy than the air plane.

Bergen Train station.

The place where we stayed. DORM.No

We booked 5 beds in a 16-bedded dormitory but they were overbooked and we got upgraded to an apartment of our own!! 2 bedrooms, 1 kitchen, 1 bathroom and a living room! WhooHoo!

Clowning around with the beanie.

Artistic shot by me!

She just had to spoil the photo by pooking her head in.

Super act cute. The owner of the beanie.

It was freezing and we only had the jacket we are wearing. Our saviour, the hot cocoa from 7-Eleven that costs SGD 5!

At Bryggen.
We're disturbed by these wof skin complete with the paws and head intact! There were also seal skins.yucks.

We sat in this garden to have our lunch and also to wait for out train and it was freezing like mad!

They are napping. Shhhhh.......

The houses are indeed on the mountain top. Or maybe this is only a hill to them.

After a lunch of potato salad sandwich.

In Bergen's Maritime Museum

Day 2 - A day of fantastic scenery. The photos here can only capture this much of the beauty. What we saw was breath-taking.

Snow-capped mountains

In the train to Flam where along the way we saw a beautiful old town. People actually live among the mountains. I really wonder how they survive.

There is a lady dancing in the middle of the waterfall and the music being played was echoed and it was so surreal.

I wad this far yet my camera len was wet. So you can imagine the impact of the waterfall.

At Flam. Waiting for our boat ride.

We took a train ride up Mount Floyen. We bought a family package coz Winnie and I are barnes. Wahah!! Yea!

See how steep the track was. This is like a shuttle bus for the people living up the mountain.

Another tourist was shooting me on his video-cam when I attempted to climb this! He wanted me to climb higher. I was horrified.

Those who refuse to attempt the climb with me.

Fantastic bird-eye view of Bergen up here. So happy we decided to get up there when we happen to chance upon it. What you see here is only half of what you get if you see it with your own eyes. Totally awesome.

Imagine how high up I'm to be able to take this photo!!

Post-card quality photo!
