I just had a tiring morning. Woke up around 9am to find the room still dark. Whoa. A rare thing for the sun rise rather early here. A peek out of the window revealed the truth. It is raining, hence the gloomy sky. I snuggled in bed for a little while more before getting up to have breakfast of chocolate milk and almond cookies. Then suddenly Pooh came in and asked me in an urgent voice if I have seen the slips of paper in the kitchen area. I was quite startled for I've just been there barely 5 minutes ago and I didn't see anything. (I was startled due to the recent spooky train incident involving us and a classmate).

The slips of paper actually want to bring to our attention to keep the corridoor and kitchen area clean! haha... yea, our kitchen n corridoor are quite dirty, balls of dusts at the corners but no one bothers to clean it up. There is actually a duty roster but no one enforces it as all those living on this level are exchange students who are only here for a semster. So while cooking tom yam soup for lunch, Pooh and I decided to slightly clean up the area!! We swept away all the horrendous dusts and clean up the stains that accumulated from god-know-how-many-donkey-years of cooking. We can only clean it slightly as the stains are too stuborn and the floor - is terrible. It looked as though it went through a fire and has black soots all over. I think it is black coz no ones ever mopped it. And it is impossible to make it sparking white now without going on all fours to scrub them - which I for now is not ready to do it. Afterall like what my father commented when I called back recently - "Are you there to study or to be housewife?" Hahaha...this comment came after I called back regularly to asked for receipes.

I think I'm a full time housewife-in-training and a part-time student. NO!!! Time to change it!
