Finally the water is safe for drinking again. I still boil my water that are meant for drinking but at least I don't have to boil water before hand to wash the vegetables and for cooking and I don't have to boil water and let it cool just to brush my teeth which is damn troublesome. I simply cannot get use to brushing my teeth with a mug of water.
Anyway, summer time or rather daylight saving will end on 28 October so it means we'll have to swtich our watch back by 1 hour. This mean the time difference between Singapore and Norway will be 7 hours instead of 6 hours. This daylight saving is meant to help conserve energy by decreasing the use of artificial light during summer. The sun rises earlier in Summer but people will still be sleeping and hence wasting the daylight. So this problem is reduced by adjusting the time 1 hour forward to creat an artificial extra hour. Very confused? Ai yah..just know that the time difference from 28 Oct onwards will be 7 hours ok.
Btw, do you know that N.U.S and N.T.U are considered public universities while S.M.U is a private university that is government-funded. While on this, the campus of S.M.U and B.I certainly look similar with its modern feel and facilities but of course S.M.U is bigger. Both universities are business schools. I always thought S.M.U was also a public university. But why is it a private university if it is govenment-funded? What is the difference between autonomous and private but government-funded?
