I realized I have really taken clean drinking water flowing from the tap for granted. I was boiling kettle after kettle of water and have ran out of space to store them. You may think I'm being kiasu but I'm certainly not since I need water for cooking, drinking and also brushing teeth.

Yesterday I prepared 2 pots of boiled water before dinner time and oh boy..you should see the way Pooh washes the vegetables. Those poor vegetables got a shower instead of a bathe that they usually had. And while cooking, I unconscioulsy added very little water and was wondering why it took so long for the vegetables to get cooked when Pooh commented that I was being stingy with my water. Haha! I defended myself by saying that those vegetables will produce water as well BUT Pooh then reminded me that she had given them a shower, not a bathe..so there is not much water. hohoho! When washing the utensils, we turned the tap to the hottest, though not much use since its not boiling but at least its not cold water. And I was such a clumsy oaf when trying to brush my teeth. I'm not used to brushing teeth using a cup of water!

After dinner around 8pm we decided to get some bottled water from the supermarket in our hostel but guess what. The shelves are all emptied of those 1.5 l still water and even the small bottles are gone. Only some 500ml sparkling water are left. -_-"
