The temperature outside now is 1 degree. Yes, just one. The temperature has never rise beyond 9 degrees since last week. My nose has bled for umpteen times since I arrived. Nothing major...just some blood when the insides of the nose gets too dry I guess.
I'm having a stiff neck right now. In fact my neck as been not feeling very "correct" for the past few days. Ya..my nose and neck are always giving me problems. The condition of my neck is due to a mix of poor sitting posture and incorrect pillow type. The pillow I bought here is somewhat flat...can't really support my neck and I always wake up each morning to a super stiff neck. The lighting in the room is real bad. Only 1 yellow light in the middle of the room but my table is position such that my back faces the light so I cast a shadow over the book/paper infront of me when I sit upright. So I tend to slouch. I've a table lamp but its useless, keep on giving out irritating noise (think something is loose inside) and its also yellow light, not bright enought for reading but very glaring for my eye. -_-"
I had also stayed in a position for at least the past 30 minutes, just trying to figure out certain portion of my maritime law readings. I thought I needn't touch any law readings after Business Law but here it is to haunt me again. Law modules is really very tedious. And this is only the basics, the foundation modules. I wonder how those lawyers survive. Now I know why they command such high pay. Same as doctors, they have to put in so so so much more effort than other course I think. Lawyers have to have very powerful command of the language to understand and decipher the alien way law texts are written, they need to have very sharp analytical skills, not to mention good memory as my god, after I read sub-section 3, i would have forgotten what is in sub-section 1. -_-"
As if having a law module is not bad enough, the insurance module is equally bad, where there is the Maritime Plan to devour, which is the rules governing the insurance cover. Wait a minute, isn't this considered the 'law' for insurance? Oh yes, now I have 2 law modules. Now this certainly banished any thoughts that I might be going to have of venturing into the marine insurance sector.
Pooh, Orange, Momo and Arrow are flying off to Germany tomorrow. They are going to Munich, Berlin and Breman to eat german sausages and also to see and maybe take part in Oktoberfest. I'm not joining them. They left me here to do marketing. I'm suppose to visit the supermarket from Thur - Sat to get vegetables, sauces and meat that are going at 40% discount. =( No, I did not quarrel with them, though we quarrel like every single day...HAHA!! I did not go coz I don't feel like going. Germany is not in the list of countries that I want to visit so I decided not to go instead of wasting money to go for the sake of going. Another reason and maybe its the main reason is because of me, my erm.. personality? Somehow I hate doing things which are not inside my plans in the first place. I don't like it when things suddenly popped out. There are alot of things in life which is certainly not going to happen according to my plan and those I have to choice but to adapt to it but for events which I can control, I will. I'm a control freak. BAH!
E.g.
I need to do things within my timeframe. If I plan to say leave this place by a certain time and I don't and due to reason not caused by me, I'll get irritated. Of course if the reason is because of me, I can't get irritated with myself can I. haha.. So I always end up nagging, scolding, hurrying them, esp Orange n Momo. =p I'll nag to no end. I'm a quick-tempered and quick-tempo person and when both of them are "mo-ing" away, I can't stand it. I can get up and be ready to leave in 20 minutes and they can be up 30 minutes before me and yet not ready. I'm like I get up later then you yet when I'm ready you're not!? But usually they wake up later than me, which is BAD, considering the speed they get themselves ready. They also have a very bad (to me) habit of lazing in bed till the very very last minute! -_-" -__" I always have to kick both of them into the bathroom each morning when we're touring, esp on the days where we have to catch a train or flight. Usually Pooh & I will kick them but this time round only Pooh will be there to kick them..ahha...let's hope Pooh can tame these 2 momo monsters. =p
p/s: "mo-ing" is our term for doing things slowly, rather, very slowly.
